Hi, I’m Charlotte. Or as I mostly prefer to be called, Char.

I’m the person behind Bee Scene — a Northumberland-based photographer who’s a little bit obsessed with capturing the moments you might otherwise forget.

I’m all about photographs that feel like you. The genuine laughs, the little details, the happy tears and everything in between. I love keeping things natural and relaxed, but I also have a real love for those editorial, flash-lit shots that feel a little more bold, creative and fashion-forward.

I’m naturally creative, a bit of a perfectionist, and genuinely invested in the people I photograph. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I’m just as happy stepping back and letting the moment unfold naturally.I photograph across Northumberland, the North East and beyond, and I’m always happy to travel for the right story.

And yes, I know there aren’t any photos of me on here…

That’s because, ironically, I absolutely hate being in front of the camera! I promise I’ll put myself out there eventually — I’m just working up to it.
